Claude Gigon, Antoine Rubin
Claude Gigon a séjourné du 1er mai au 30 juin 2019 à gepard14 *. L’artiste s’est inspiré de l’histoire du lieu. Entre les années 1950 et 1970, deux guépards ont vécu en captivité dans le jardin de l’ancienne propriété. Aujourd’hui transformé en résidence, le lieu a conservé la porte de l’enclos comme étrange témoin de l’histoire de ces animaux.
C’est en essayant d’adopter leur perspective que l’artiste a débuté son travail de création. Il s’est lui-même imaginé félin pour mieux apprivoiser un nouveau champ de vision. Plusieurs séries de dessins, nées de cette approche évolutive, nous offre une vision circulaire de la condition humaine et animale où lumière et ténèbres se réunissent pour ne former plus qu’un. Ils sont accompagnés par des textes d’Antoine Rubin.
